I'd like to copy over my Epic save data, so that I can use Steam to stream to my phone without having to start the game over from scratch. I've found my Epic save data (C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Solar), but can't figure out where the game is saving the data when it is run outside of Epic. I also did a quick test, and when I run the EXE directly from its folder (C:\Program Files\Epic Games\SolarAsh) without the Epic launcher, it uses the same save files as with Steam, not those created when launching through Epic. In-Game From the creators of the award-winning Hyper Light Drifter comes the high-speed and gravity-bending world of Solar Ash.

I backed up that save data, and loaded again via Steam, playing up to the first save point to see what would happen.Īpparently the Steam "version" saves just fine, somewhere else, as I now have different save data whether I'm running in Epic or in Steam. Immediately, I closed out, and opened through Epic Game Store, and my save data was intact. When I did that, none of my save data was visible. I tried loading the Solar Ash executable into Steam so that I could stream the game to my phone using SteamLink. So, a weird issue, but maybe others have run into this.
